P.A. Boot Camp
A production assistant job is often the first one you'll get when you're trying to get your start in the film industry. But, it might be your last if you aren't prepared.
This special addition of the Michigan Production Alliance's P.A. Boot camp will cover the nuts and bolts of what it takes to be a successful and effective production assistant. The $40 fee covers both the workshop and the book "Production Algebra," by Mark Adler. Workshop proceeds go to the Michigan Creative Film Alliance to sponsor their 2012 film "Downriver."

Driving directions from I96 West: take exit 106B to I-496 W/US 127 North towards Downtown Lansing and then take exit 9 to Trowbridge Road. Take Trowbridge THRU the intersection of Trowbridge and Harrison, following Trowbridge down until it becomes Red Cedar, around a slight bend to the left and on your right will be a large parking structure. That's the Com Arts ramp and next to it is the Com Arts building. Metered parking is available in the structure.
