Starting tonight—it’s a great week to screen a film and hear from the pros involved with them :

Tonight-Wed. 3/27  7:00 p.m. Michigan Theater Ann Arbor: 
Hear from Executive Producers Danny Glover & Billy Peterson, plus director David Turnley following the screening of “Shenandoah,”  the heart-wrenching story of Shenandoah P.A., a coal mining town where an undocumented immigrant was beaten to death by four football players.

Friday 3/29 7:30 p.m. Emagine Theater, Novi: 
Executive Producer Eddie Rubin will be on hand at the screening of the new made-in-Washtenaw County feature film, “Love and Honor.”

Saturday 3/30 3:00p.m. Detroit Film Theatre:
Distinguished filmmaker Julie Dash (“Daughters of the Dust”, "The Rosa Parks Story") presents “These Amazing Shadows,” the 2011 documentary on America’s most beloved films and the National Film Registry. Dash, the 2013 holder of the Bob Allison/Allesee Endowed Chair in Media at WSU, is featured in the film.

Saturday 3/30 7:00p.m.  Birmingham 8 Theatre, Birmingham, MI:
Meet director Benjamin Epps following the sneak peak screening of the made-in-Macomb County feature film “Family Weekend”
