Epilogue - A Tribute to the Life & Work of Joel David Silvers

Wayne State University Department of Communication and Freep Film Festival invite you to a celebration of Joel Silvers, the WSU educator who taught generations of filmmakers. His documentary work, which focused on social justice and the arts, will be at the center of this event at the historic Jam Handy building. Silvers died in December at age 72, and family, friends and former students will honor his memory on what would have been his 73rd birthday. The program will include screenings of his work and a video tribute.
