Celebrate with us in this once-in-a-generation win for clean air!

Breathe Free Detroit is hosting a final celebration: a Shutdown Party for the community living around the facility. This is also the first event to open the James and Rose Robinson Community Center! The walls of the Center will be filled with art, historical documents, and pictures of our fight throughout the years.

At 4:30pm, a Celebration March will fill the streets with joy! We will march from the James and Rose Robinson Community Center to a nearby location for an outdoor concert with many musicians performing works written to shutdown the incinerator and inspired by clean air and community power.

*Please bring your old protest signs, noisemakers, drums, and chants for this special Celebration March! Food and drinks will be available for free throughout the event thanks to the kind donations from Supino's Pizza!

If you're interested in performing, submitting work or historical documents to our upcoming Shutdown Party, send us a message! Email or call organizer KT Andresky at breathefreedetroit@gmail.com or (313)312-0134

Candy donations are strongly encouraged for the Trunk or Treat following immediately after this event at the Community Center.
